Hail, hail! King of Clay!

15 06 2008

Rafael Nadal or “Rafa” is simply amazing! I’ve watched him improve his game, tournament after tournament. I am impressed by his tenacity and dedication. This young bloke simple has what it takes to be the next no. 1 seed.

He’s Roger Federer’s Achilles heels in clay.

The just concluded French Open 2008 ended spoiling Federer’s hopes of claiming his latest bid of completing a career of grand slam. 6-1, 6-3, 6-0 for Rafa Nadal!

Rafa’s 28 wins to 0 loss in the Roland Garros made him the second man to win four consecutive French Open titles, next to Bjorn Borg.

Last Night at the Artois Championships semis, Nadal stormed into his first final at The Queen’s Club after an impressive 7-5, 6-4 victory over four-time winner and defending champion Andy Roddick.

Nadal will face Novak Djokovic, my other favorite player, in the finals tonight.

Hell, yeah, I’m a big fan!

Vamos, Rafa!
